READY. SET. GO!
Bring Birmingham 2022 to your school with Bring the Power School Sport Workshop Days.

Delivered across the West Midlands, our workshops introduce KS1 and KS2 children to sporting activities inspired by the Commonwealth Games.
It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to educate and inspire children through an iconic celebration of sport taking place right on their doorstep. Be a part of Birmingham 2022.
The Workshop
To set the scene for the day ahead, we start with an assembly introducing children to the Commonwealth Games. Children learn a brief history of the Games, insights about the host city, the meaning behind Perry the mascot, the sporting events taking place, and the mission of Birmingham 2022.
It’s then time to start the sports!
As a full day event, pupils take part on a class-by-class basis. Within each workshop, there are five activity stations reflecting the fully integrated para-sports programme of the Games.
We know each school is different in terms of timetabling, so we’re flexible to suit you. We’ll work with you to design a bespoke schedule that fits seamlessly into your school day.
